Terms of use

These terms apply when you use find.co.zw, whether you are looking, posting an ad or contacting a seller. Please read them with our posting rules and privacy notice.

1. Who we are

In these terms, “we” and “us” mean the team behind find.co.zw. You can reach us through our contact form.

2. What find.co.zw does

find.co.zw is a classifieds site. We publish ads so that buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, and employers and job-seekers can find each other. We are not a party to any sale, let or job, we don’t hold money for either side, and we don’t inspect the items, vehicles or properties in ads.

3. Posting an ad

• Posting is free. Each ad stays up for 30 days and you can renew it free.
• You must be at least 18, and the details you give must be true.
• Your ad must follow the posting rules. We may check, edit for category or format, refuse or take down any ad.
• You keep ownership of your words and photos. By posting, you allow us to show them on find.co.zw and in links to it, and to shrink and crop photos so they fit.
• We email you a private link to edit, renew, mark sold or remove your ad. Keep it safe: anyone with the link can change the ad.

4. Buying, renting and hiring

• Check the item, vehicle, property or employer yourself before you pay or sign anything. Our safety centre explains how.
• Never pay a deposit for something you haven’t seen.
• Any agreement is between you and the other person. We are not responsible for what they do or don’t do.

5. Using the site fairly

Don’t copy ads or contact details in bulk, send spam, use the site to harass anyone, or try to break or overload it. We may block anyone who does.

6. Price checks and labels

Where we show a price check, it compares the price with similar live ads on find.co.zw. It is a guide, not a valuation. Labels such as “Papers ready”, “Delivery” and “Video viewing” are what the seller told us.

7. Our responsibility

We work to keep the site running and free of scams, but we can’t promise it will always be available or that every ad is accurate. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from dealing with other users. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under Zimbabwean law, including the Consumer Protection Act.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. The date below shows the latest version, and the version on this page is the one that applies.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe.
