Posting rules

Last updated on 29 October 2026

These rules keep find.co.zw useful and safe. We read new ads before they go live, and we take down ads that break them.

Every ad

  • One item, vehicle, property, job or service per ad. Post a separate ad for each one.
  • Your own photos of the real thing. Show any damage. No photos copied from other ads or websites.
  • An honest title, description and price. If the price is in ZiG, say so.
  • The right category and town, so buyers can find it.
  • No repeat ads. Renew your ad from your private link instead of posting it again.
  • Contact details that reach you, and nobody else’s.

Not allowed

  • Stolen goods, or anything you don’t own or have the right to sell.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives and fireworks.
  • Drugs, prescription medicines and anything sold as a cure.
  • Ivory, pangolins, rhino horn and other protected wildlife or its parts.
  • Fake or copied branded goods, and pirated films, music or software.
  • Personal documents: passports, IDs, licences, certificates and number plates.
  • Adult services and anything sexual.
  • Pyramid and “double your money” schemes, loans with upfront fees, and foreign-currency dealing.
  • Jobs that charge people to apply, or for training, uniforms or medicals.
  • Ads that ask for a deposit or payment before the buyer has seen the item or property.
  • Hate, threats, and personal details of other people.

Property

  • Only post a property you own, or one you are instructed to sell or let.
  • Say which papers exist: title deeds, a cession, or an agreement of sale.

Vehicles

  • The registration book should be in the seller’s name, or the ad should say why it isn’t.
  • Only tick “Papers ready” if the registration book and police clearance are ready.

What happens if an ad breaks the rules

We take it down, and we may take down the seller’s other ads too. Where we believe a crime is involved, we may pass details to the police.
